Question: How can one get strong faith quickly?

Why do you want it quick? You have a problem being slow? Why quickly? Take your time, relax. Once you get strong faith, what are you going to do with it? What are you going to do with that strong faith? You ever ask yourself? What are you going to do with your faith? You ever ask yourself?

Do you think faith is something that is empty? What do you do when you have faith? What do you think Allah is going to do to you when you gonna have faith? You think that time you have faith and everything is nice and easy and you can relax? Allah Allah.It’s when you have faith that your journey begins. Your journey, if you don’t have faith your journey didn’t even start. You didn’t even leave the dock yet, nothing. Once you have faith then you ride in that ocean, reaching somewhere, crossing all those oceans and you will cross it after a while you will realize, ‘it’s not about my faith too. It’s not about… it’s not for me.’

The Prophets they have strong faith, yes. They have the strongest faiths.The Prophet’s they have the strongest faiths. You think their faith is for themselves? But everyone wants to have faith, when they have the idea of faith, faith for themselves, to save their own skins, isn’t it? To go to Paradise. Is that faith? What kind of faith is that? You want to have faith, what kind of faith you want? It’s another thing to ask. You want to have the faith of what? Of who? Whose faith? The faith of a hypocrite? The faith of a person who will only believe if good things happen to him? The faith of a person who only wants things for himself? Look to the Prophets. If you want faith, you should have, you should want to have faith like them, like what they have. And what did they do with their faith? What did 124,000 Prophets do with their faith? They help, they get burned, they help again, they get beaten, they get betrayed, they help again, continuing, saving.

Say you want faith quickly. I am saying why you want to be so quick. It took Sahaba e-kiram 23 years to have faith, 23 very hard years. And after that the harshness continues too. The highest level ones, when we look at them we say “yes, they are crazy”. And when they look at us they say that we don’t have faith. What happened to the highest level Sahabis, so many of them? Did they have peace and comfort and everything that they ask for with their children and grand children around them, have nice thanksgivings, hmm?, nice dinners and everything is comfortable? What happened to Hazrati Abu Darda? What happened to Abu Huraira? What happened to so many of them? How they passed from this world? With so much hardness.

Faith comes with a very heavy price too. You must know what you are going to get with that. You want faith, strong faith, you have to die before you die. So many people cannot even sit for 20 minutes, and you want to die. That’s a reality, isn’t it. This is not talk. We are not ones to say “Don’t worry. Allah loves you. You love Allah. Everything is okay. You just keep a beard you already in a Divine Union”. You want those ones you can go too. Not with our Sheykh. He is teaching us things that are real.
